why does everyone hate Michael Bay so much? just because it's the "cool" thing to do? his movies may not have the most substance but they are undeniably fun

He's made some fun movies but for me many of his movies are just plain unwatchable despite having some really great action.

even though Bay sucks a fat one in storytelling these days, he kinda has an eye for the Bad Boys series. i mean come on, he drove a hummer through a village. that was pretty cool.
i bet they build an entire city and bomb it. well, thats what i would do with his ridiculous budget.
