Looks like you're a real Bond fan - not counting Never Say Never Again as a true Bond movie.

He stays with one girl at the end.....clue # 278 that it isn't really Bond.

I'm a pretty decent Bond fan. Never Say Never Again, even if it was "official" sucked hard no matter what. There are a lot of moments in the film that can be cited as him not being "Bond." And that's ok with me because of the premise.

What we have here is the Bond origin. It's like Batman Begins. He screwed up, fell off roofs, got tailed by cops. It's like Spiderman when Peter Parker lets a robber go, because he's not really Spiderman yet. Daniel Craig's Bond isn't Sean Connery's yet. He's becoming that. All we see here is what happens to take a suave, arrogant, yet still naive, Bond and turn him into a suave, arrogant, calloused Bond who slaps women around and then loves them.

I'm totally down with Casino Royale. Especially after crap like The World is Not Enough and Tomorrow Never Dies.
