    Sounds lame.

So will they give Brad Pitt an Oscar for bad acting, because from the trailers I have seen in the movie theaters he is terrible. Never been over impressed with Tarentino since he is pretty much hit and then miss for the next 5 movies.

When a movie gets such divided reviews like this, I think you need to see the film to make your own opinions.

I am reading the script and I must say that Tarantino's proficiency in the English language is severely lacking. Seriously. I had to re-read a few sentences because his spelling is complete shit. He confuses "there", "their", and "they're" numerous times. It's hilarious and saddening.

Ok seriously, am I the only one with a problem with the look Brad Pitt has on his face in every shot from this movie?!?! Is this a 'Sling Blade' sequel?

Tucker, he wrote the script badly intentionally.

Are you serious? He intentionally misspelled words? Do you have a source for this? Why the hell would you do that? Doing that could lead to the confusion of the cast and crew. It's retarded. I mean, I can understand the misspelling of the title, but misspellings throughout the entire script?

They're saying the abundance of subtitles will put the "general" audience off this movie when it hits theatres

I know that no matter what anyone else says, I will always see his movies. There was a line in the sand as well for death proof and I think its just the fact that he makes movies that he would want to watch and says f*** you to everyone else. As for this person's problem with the script, I highly doubt that you have a genuine copy if there are all those spelling mistakes. For someone to make such fantastic dialogue in his movies HAS to know how to spell, so keep your wining to yourself (or on a forum where others care).
Also, What is everyone's freaking hang up on the fact the title is "misspelled"??? He obviously made a decision to change it due to some correlation with the film. So do some of you agree with me that those talking airheads on our tv's need to shut up and get over that fact??? Please, its a title, let it be, watch the movie and bathe in its awesomeness.

Isn't this pretty common for Tarantino movies though? There always seems to be a great divide, or at least somewhat mixed reviews when his movies come out. Some people praise him, and other people trash him. I mean there was even the shouting match on FSR that addressed that.

I try not to listen to any reviews of his work for that reason, and just judge him on what he spits out. Sometimes its enjoyable (in my opinion his early work) and sometimes I think it's terrible (death proof). I'll catch this in theaters, more than likely.

res dogs and pulp fiction and true romance are genius. kill bill was a helluva fun ride. i thought jackie brown, kill bill vol. 2 and death proof were majorly boring. i think inglourious basterds will probably land somewhere after kill bill in his canon of work since it's not artsy enough to be pulp or res dogs and it's not commercial enough to be kill bill (lack of nazi-killing. an aside: never promise what you wont deliver).
