the story sounds rough, but i'm down as long as it captures the same feel as the original.

I don't know how I feel about a sequel. Beerfest was actually pretty good, but Club Dread was terrible. Definitely an up and down group and it seems like desperation to make a sequel.

They think they play different characters in different movies, but as far as im concerned beerfest was already a super troopers sequel.

Like you said their movies are very arbitrary but I will defiantly check this out if it ever makes it to the big screen. The original was a modern comedy classic for me., can't wait.

Loved the original Super Troopers, but the rest of Broken Lizard's movies never really got to me. I hope they can make a good sequel to the movie, and the premises is funny enough. But I'm wary.

I liked Club Dredd quite a bit. I will admit that Bill Paxton is by far the best part of the movie. Now if you want to criticize a Broken Lizard movie I'm all for trashing Puddle Cruiser.

"Puddle Cruiser" was their first movie...low on budget, high on friends and family appearances...and filmed almost entirely on a college campus. Sundance liked it in 1996, and I still like it (I own all of their DVD's). While the quality is definitely lower than that of ST's, I still think "Club Dread" sits on the lowest rung of their stuff. With PC, they were still fleshing out their characters, and experimenting with how their comedy worked...so if you view it as a prototype, it's really not all that bad. I'd still much rather watch PC than National Lampoon's "Dorm Daze" (or it's deplorable sequel).

I loved Super Troopers and Beerfest, never saw Club Dread just because I never got around to it and probably never will due to the harsh reviews. But I couldn't stop laughing when I read the premise, I don't think it sounds rough at all. However, I feel there won't be that many people getting the Canadian jokes, but I can't wait for this to be made.

I just have never been able to get into this film as much as a large portion of my friends have. Of course, they do smoke large amounts of weed. So there's that.

    Yes!

I would like them to do something similar to the first movie. Instead this time they are Spurbury Police.
