what a shame. i saw Zack and Miri at a test screening last month and it is a fantastic film. it

Is $10.7m that much of a flop?

The highest any Smith film has ever opened is 'Jay and Silent Bob SB' with $11m.
I believe the estimated budget for Z&M is around $25m. Of course most studios would prefer to make back the budget of each film in it's opening weekend; that does happen to often. Most of the time films aim to open around the halfway mark of the total budget(not always including marketing cost). So if Z&M's opened at $15m would that have still been a flop? Or did it need to open like an Apatow 'Directed' film(20+million) to not been considered a flop?

I think $10.7(if this estimate holds up) is a decent opening. The numbers are a little lite, but remember that the film opened on Halloween. If you look at how much the numbers jumped from Friday-to-Saturday it becomes clear that the film could have made a few million more had it opened on a different Friday.

Huge speciation for this movie I love it from the word go. Wow it was not about the porn. Some might get the feeling that is sexual packed movie. No way has this movie explained lots about the life challenges. They are finding solutions with making porno. Biggest case is they don't know really how to do it. Enjoyed much as I could, well made movie Zack and Miri Make a Porno saw it by reliable site http://www.80millionmoviesfree.com

What the HELL was up with that stupid Molly Hartely movie?! Why did i let them drag me to that movie?! I shoud've listened to you guys. That ending was laaaame. Bad way for me to start Nov. At least it'll get better.

I love Kevin Smith movies...but I also know that I am one of only a small percentage of movie goers that does. The term "niche market" seems to be made specifically for the View Askiewniverse. Of course...I'd like to see more of an audience for Mr. Smith...so I think it's a shame that "Zack and Miri" won't allow for that to happen (so far). Traditional Smith narrative/expletive aside...I thought the movie was endearing. I saw it while my girlfriend was at work...and I will definitely take her to see it...and then purchase the DVD eventually.

All I'm going to say is that Pride and Glory was absolutely phenomenal. Eagle Eye and Max Payne, oh God especially Max Payne, are garbage. Pride and Glory should be destroying the Box Office. Too bad widespread ignorance and overall mediocrity is approved of "this side of the Atlantic".
