this movie was okay, but i think it would be more effectively watched at home. audience noise ruins the suspension of disbelief.

Some wide release. Me and my friends tried to see it today. Turns out its only showing in four theaters in the DC metro area.

Movie was entertaining, original and frightening. There is a backlash growing among some of the more imagination challenged viewers who require blood, guts & CGI to enjoy their movies. This movie is old-school a-la Hitchock - lots of anticipatory scenes which build tension among those who get into it but comes off as boring to those who don't understand why the movie isn't laden with special effects and monsters.

Still, I have to agree - why on earth are they showing the final scene in the trailer, and a scene from the original ending which isn't in the movie? The original trailer from 2007 is by far the best - shows very little but gives you a good idea of what the movie is about.

If you're into classic suspense/horror, don't listen to the people complaining about how 'boring' it is, you'll enjoy it. If your idea of a good movie is lots of gore & special effects, don't waste your money, you'll be disappointed.
