Film School Rejects: Arrested Development Movie Plans Are In Motion

    Well I just got back from Church because I made a deal to get this movie made. But no it wasn't that I'd go to church more, as a promise to God. But I had to torch a church for Satan. But the movie is now on track, so it'll be worth it.

    One glass of Hot Ham Water, please, and two tickets to the film.

    When I found out the news yesterday, I shouted from the roof tops, emailed all of my friends and cried just a little bit. I love Arrested Development so much, it's probably my fav tv show ever. When I found out I blue myself prematurely.

    sued the TV show for their rights on the name...!? Or did something happen inbetween that

    Anyone worried its going to completely suck and severly be below expectations? I am. I absolutely LOVED the show but I worry that this wont live up to the show - They never do.

    The first comment is the best, even though I am a Jew and Church means nothing to me, but his comments is awesome. Arrested Development is the worst fault in television history. By far there has never been a more psychological and physiologically profound show and nor will there ever be one like this. I can agree with him though, that it is an act of God that this show, in movie form or not, must be portrayed to the public.

    Real mixed emmotions here.

    Trying to crawl back in bed with anything short of AD's original magic could end up making me feel cheap, gyped and dirty....like I was commiting ADultery or something.

    I suspect those who enjoyed a follow-up movie the most would NOT be us old AD fans.

    If DVD sales tell us anything about comedy resurrection (Family Guy, Futurama), then give the ravenous Arrested Development movie fans a place to smartly invest their green in some quality comedy.

    AD has become my acid test for prospective girlfriends. If she doesn't like the show, I dump her. Saves me a lot of aggravation.

    Could this be the work of the itsy bitsy IRA? I hope they get all the cast and don't screw it up too much. As long as it's the original writers and anything they probably won't. I have been mourning the loss of that brillant show since Development Arrested, so, so far, I'm excited.

    A movie would rock! I am so upset that the show only lasted three seasons. I think most people are just too stupid to understand good humor. All these ridiculous shows stay on the air for years, then we get one really good show and it goes off. Doesn't make sense. I guess America only likes to watch CRAP. How many seasons has the "Batchlor" been on the air. Case and point.
