Film School Rejects: Activision Eyes ‘Call of Duty’ For Big Screen Action

I would love to see a film version of F.E.A.R. put into production. It would be tough, though, to capture the game's atmosphere. It is as unnerving as it is due to the immersion of being a single player, controlling the guy who witnesses first-hand all the supernatural craziness from his eyes. A film would more than likely compromise that intimacy and the terror-factor would probably flop.

Get J.J. Abrams for 'Mass Effect', Peter Jackson for 'Halo', and Steven Spielberg for 'Gears of War', because he makes damn good gritty alien movies (War of the Worlds) and damn good gritty war movies (Saving Private Ryan). Sorry, but xbox has all the games that would make great movies right now, but i wouldn't mind seeing metal gear

No CoD movie please. It would just be a generic war movie.

OK before they make any live action movies from are beloved games they should restart and finsh with HALO that is the only one i want to see come to life for right now. Mass Effect, Gears Of War are awsome games that i love to play when i want to escape from this world but i would rather they finish what they started and thats with the halo movie.

I agree, halo should come to life as a movie to be seen by me and other people who would like to see it also!

I think MGS already qulifies as a movie in itself lol. I think Brothers in Arms would be a fantastic game to transfer to film. They would need to the story to be dead on and very emotionally heavy to work though. But it could be done.
