You're an idiot. You obviously dont understand one thing about the 60s or what the idea of peace and love and rock n roll is all about. Part of that time period involved lots of lsd and to dipict that in the movie was brilliant. plus who doesnt like, "I am the Walrus". You must have no taste in music or in cinematography. You're a moron. Oh and P.S. I will quote..."Ive pissed off every professor at PRINCETON".-Max. Thank you. Try to pay more attention next time.

I'm going to have to agree with the review in a lot of ways. The real downfall came at the point where they attend the party and the hairy dude sang "I Am the Walrus." In answer to Lucy, I LOVE "I Am The Walrus" when the Beatles sang it, or even when it's been covered by people as camp as Jim Carrey. It seems to me that the only reason that entire part was put in was to include that song -- how in the world do you fit "I Am the Walrus" in a regular-life situation? What really got me, though, was that it didn't really further the story much, and didn't fit the characters. It got that song in, and it re-introduced Prudence into the group. That's it. Then their lives go on as they were.

As Lucy gets further into the "Revolution," though, the story and the music/style start really picking up again.

You obviously don't understand the meaning behind those 20minutes. Dr.Robert is a representation of Ken Kesey whom inspired "The Beatles" Magic Mystery Tour. Also note that Max himself describe those 20minutes as his way to take his mind off the fact he's going to war. The scene with Mr.Kite was well done, and it was used to bring back Prudence for the scene in which they sing "Because". Those 20minutes show the group as a whole before everything happen that forced them going on their seperate ways.

Also i forgot to mention those 20minutes are an easter egg not for the potheads but for those with a pair of 3d glasses.

That twenty minutes was to show how high people used to get in the 60s and 70s. I thought that was obvious?
