The Long Halloween and the subsequent Batman: Dark Victory are probably the two best Batman story arcs you'll ever come across.

I had hoped (before any of us knew anything about TDK) that the upcoming Batflick would be the last of the series. Burton stopped at two and so did... Schumacher, why stop the trend now? But seeing as how much of the films take from the comic arcs, I might have to change my mind.

Anyone wanna try to guess what the name of the 3rd Bat movie might be?

Burton's follow up wasn't all that good. As long as The Dark Knight is great, I would like to see Nolan go as long as he's content to, same with Bale.

As for the third title, there is the obvious The Dark Knight Returns, or it could take the titles from some of the sources: Dark Victory, Long Halloween, Killing Joke, No Man's Land.

I really want Holiday in the next movie. He is a rather devious character that I am not currently obsessed with. I loved long halloween and dark victory. I see a lot of chis nolans version in them. BTW thanks for suggesting this for other people, it is a graphic novel that i dont think batman fans should miss out on.
