i've seen it a couple of times now and i think its pretty awesome. Ditto about the cliche stuff but it'll let it slide. Nay, i dont think the father is Sabretooth...he's simply the "hairy farm hand".. the other young dude who runs away with Young Wolvie is Sabretooth.....so no, sabre and wolvie arent brothers. or shouldn't be, if the movie takes the direction of the comics.

young victor specifically says in the trailer that they are brothers. there's even a line in the trailer that says "he wasn't your father" i think referencing the aristocrat who was killed in the trailer. and that hairy farm hand i most def. think is victor's dad. so yeah i do think logan and victor are related in this film.

also is this suppose to be in continuity with the x-men films? plus they def. are not following the x-men books if they are including gambit in the weapon x program. does anyone remember if gambit was part of the program in the ultimate line? i haven't read ultimate x-men lately (it kinda sucks) so i can't remember all the details.

Based on the comic-book; it was neither confirmed nor denied that Wolverine & Sabertooth are brothers. Just implied.

The comic also showed (unlike the clip) that the mother already knew about the claws because she was accidently attacked by her son James.

And to answer Andrew's question: Orginally Gambit was not a part of the weapon-x program. He was part of mutant clan from New Orleans...(but that's just the origin I remember) who knows nowadays....One last thing.....SPOILER! Be on the lookout for a red-head that looks like Jean!

Gambit wasnt part of the Weapon X Program in Ultimates. At least I dont think so. I read it a while ago and Im pretty sure Weapon X had nothing to do with Gambit. Then again maybe so. But whos to say he involved with Weapon X in this movie. I didnt hear anything about that. I hope they show a little Deadpool next TV Spot.

Gambit's got nothing to do with Weapon X in the mainstream universe or Ultimate universe, but I'll let them get away with it, they really wanted to use him in the movies and he looks great. This looks like the comic Wolverine: Origin but with some slight changes... there's a character named Dog Logan who bullies Wolvie as a child, who is responsible for the death of the man thought to be Logan's father, John Howlett. It is implied that Thomas Logan, Dog's father, is actually Wolverine's. Note the physical resemblance http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Thomas_Logan_(Earth-...

Ok the trailer showed that the claws Wolverine has when he is young are the correct ones per the comic. bone and not metal so they validated part of the mythos.
