Wowoweewow...very visually stunning movie. I've never read/seen the book, but i've heard very good things. From what i see on the trailer this could be an exciting ride.

after watching this amazing trailer I just have to ask why Warner Bros. is waiting until October to release this when June is a perfect month for it...very little competition
  • ANGRYBROOMSTICK · 8 months ago
you NEED to read the book. It's not even a book anyway... it's a book of art.
  • MoMo · 8 months ago
that, by the definition you just gave us, would still be a book.
  • daviedave47 · 8 months ago
GREAT book (of art)! I have an old and worn copy on my bookshelf from when I was a child...along with my Shel Silverstein series, and all of Roald Dahl's books.
  • MeRsH · 8 months ago
oh... my... GOD! simply amazing and absolutely perfect! October cannot come soon enough.
  • LandonPalmer · 8 months ago
seems they're advertising it more for adults who grew up on the book than kids...which is to say, i can't fucking wait

This trailer looks incredible, though it seems to downplay some of the darkness that the studios have been concerned about. This has become one of my most anticipated movies of the year.

Wow. I was looking forward to this film more than humanly possible. Yet, after that, I am looking forward to it even more. I will most likely watch this trailer 1,000 more times by the movie's release.

Wow, that movie really made me want to eat at Chili's for some reason. Fantastico!
  • Neil Miller · 8 months ago
That's actually the point. And if you visit this site enough, you will eat a lot of Chilis and be chubby... like me.
  • Cole_Abaius · 8 months ago
It may be lame, but that commercial has my commercial crush in it. That brunette girl that says, "welcome to chili's." So cute.
  • Quenfis · 8 months ago
Why does it not surprise me that people who have not read/seen this book can't figure out that the letter I, as in the word I, is actually capitalized...always.

    I'm so very happy.

    Badass!

Not to mention one of my favorite Arcade Fire songs to go with it, Amazing.
  • MoMo · 8 months ago
agreed, i love the transition from cool acoustic version to badass album version as well.
  • Randallphobia · 8 months ago
The movie looks awesome, & I'm a major Arcade Fire fan. The combination sent chills of delight through me.

I never really understood the whole Where the Wild Things Are cult but I am all for a fantasy movie that takes on the subject well and seems to be visually stunning.

When I first heard about this being made a thought "complete and utter horseshit. Just like Cat in the Hat/Grinch/etc.. take a beloved childhood memory and make it into a steamin pile of crap." I am so happy that it looks like I was wrong!! Can Spike do a version of "Ferdinand the Bull" or "Rikitikitimbo"?

The trailer has been taken down - but it didn't tell me that until after I had to sit through an ad. Gee, thanks.
  • Neil Miller · 8 months ago
The trailer has not been taken down. Our media server is just getting eaten up by the thousands of people trying to watch the damn trailer at the same time. Damn you people and your excitement for this film!
  • Quenfis · 8 months ago
Time to get back on that bike...and meet me at Chili's for some bottomless Chips N' Salsa!
  • Ryan · 8 months ago
    love the arcade fire song..
  • Grammercy · 8 months ago
ive heard that song so many times but with the trailer it gave me goosebumps !
  • Jenny · 8 months ago
    Wow, so dramatic. I cried.
  • Joshua Schilling · 7 months ago
Is it bad that I ALMOST cried watching a trailer?
