Film School Rejects: ‘Taken’ Sequel, Americanized ‘District B13′ In the Works

I saw District B13 back when it first hit DVD and I was blown away. AS long as they can keep the action pace and parkour quality as high as the original, it will still be an amazing flick to watch. As for Taken, sure, why the hell not. Bring more ass kicking Neeson!!!

I love Taken...even more so knowing I had seen it almost a full year before most...while it was cool to see him fly solo...it would be even cooler to see him work abroad with his body guarding team of ex-spies ...maybe a client is kidnapped in Brazil or South Africa and they have to kick ass to find him/her...

I like it, kind of a badass Rambo style movie in the works here. I agree it would be sweet to have the whole team go on a mission rather then Nesson flying solo again.

They just better avoid the whole, daughter gets kidnapped again kid of thing because that would be very uncool. However it really does not matter too much; I'll watch Liam Neeson wrecking shop any day of the week.

I agree it would feel forced if he had to save his daughter again...if it's someone else's daughter that's a different story...I just hope they leave his family out of the next movie altogether..Famke Janssen slowed down the film with her bad acting.....Liam Neeson is always badass just a few examples Gangs of New York, Batman Begins, The Kingdom, Rob Roy and he was the best thing in Episode 1

Seriously two of the biggest bad-ass character teases of recent history are his characters from Gangs of New York and Kingdom of Heaven.

I would have much preferred watching Liam Neeson kick ass in those movies than his "sons" Leo Dicaprio and Orlando Bloom.

Liam Neeson looks too much like a regular customer I have in my store... another helping of him kicking-ass would be traumatising. But for the viewing pleasure of others, why not? Heheh. XD

Taken was a great action film but a sequel? Come on ,,,, that's just going to ruin the memory.
The lack of originality in films and the addiction to half ass sequels is nauseating.

Taken was a hand-to-hand combat version of Shoot'em Up...enjoyable, but hilariously over the top.

I loved the simpleness of Taken..I have a 2 year old daughter, and that movie hit my gut a hell of alot closer than any of the transporter films....even the second one wasnt as good as Taken especially in believe-ability...I think that was the key to the movie being ahit tho, believing that this could happen in this world- and I'm sure it happens every day abroad...What would you do if you had the tools and resources at your disposal??In america, there seems to be this attitude that in the suburban cookie-cutter world that "this would never happen to me", then all of a sudden it happens, and you are on all the news channels..Cant wait for the next one, peace.

Taken is a class movie. I really enjoyed it and can't wait for more.
Wasn't B-13 already a sort of remake of a Escape from New York? Anyhoo, I hope that the studios don't 'uck about with the story too much and keep the amazing parkour bits intact. David Belle's stunts were bloody amazing. {After all he was one of the ones that started it all}. Even his pal Cyril Raffaelli did a good job in Casino Royale even if it wasn't much of a part.
Can't wait for B-13 2 (the French version of course).

Kingdom of Heaven, that was the reason I bought the film. If they had made the film about the true Lord of Ibealen then it would have been a much better movie. He could have shown Orlando Bloom how to be a knight and possibly died in the assault of Jerusalem leaving his son to carry on his name. That would have been a better movie.

I loved Taken's simple, straight-to-the-point action. My wife and I watched it last night, and I was stunned at how satisfied I felt at the end, even though it didn't even last 1hr30min. Considering I'm expecting my first daughter in less than 2 months, I totally connected with the Mills character's desire to save his daughter at any cost. Mills was no wuss and it rocked!
