Whoa, whoa, I think you're going a little bit to far about that Larry the Cable Guy remark. That's just a hit below the belt against Costner. And I don't think the D+ grade justifies your review, sounds more like a C or C+ to me.

Since I have a basic understanding of how elections works, this film's plot is an insult.

I think the comment about Larry the Cable Guy is less a swipe at Costner and more a question of, "What was Kevin 'Dances with Wolves' Costner doing in this thing? It's the type of thing Larry the Cable Guy would be in."

But, at least we have this years' "Man of the Year."

    "Couldn't swallow the plot"

What...like most movies have a believable plot?

It's just a fucking fictional movie for god's sake. Like most every other fucking movie out there. It's fantasy entertainment. That's all.

Pulleeze. Sometimes I think all these movie blogs are about is to criticize movies that the criticizers could never even begin to make as well themselves.

    How rediculous.

    They're just movies...hello!

Plots have to either be believable or successfully get the audience to suspend disbelief enough to go along with the reality they create.

It may just be a "fucking fictional movie," but it still has to make sense. It's nice of you to give a pass to almost every other movie out there, though. I imagine it's easier to be entertained when you don't care whether the plot makes sense or not.

But you're right. It is pretty rediculous.
