What really irks me about the whole Twilight thingy, especially by the looks of the trailer, is that it squandered its vampire love story potential into a teenage clichefest. Can they not even spare some effort to give the films the mystical and creepy aura that was hinted at by the fonts? Do they even know the meaning of SUBTLETY?

I don't get all the hate for the franchise. What's wrong with a movie that only appeals to women? How many guys went to see Tomd Raider for its sparkling wit and captivating story, and how many for the hotness that is Angelina Jolie? I freely admit to having enjoyed it, despite it being an atrocious film with terrible acting, ridiculous effects and clumsy dialogue. It's fun to have a movie that is unashamedly romantic with a gorgeous leading man every now and again. I have far more respect for it than the Jonas brothers for example, who have truly been cynically grown in a vat to tick all the boxes.

You know, i think i enjoy reading the comments following the Twilight posts on this site then the actual posts.

Some people just don't know good cheese when they smell it.

Oh, and if anyone actually paid attention last time...by the time Twilight actually opened...there were enough clips out there to actually piece together the movie without coughing up the nine bucks to see it in the theater.

The CGI standards are quite low i suppose. I was actually happy with how the wolf graphic turned out. A bit cartoon-ish, sure it is. Maybe it's unfinished? Won't know till november.

As for Lautner, i wouldn't normally defend somebody over this but, those abs aren't CGI. That boy worked his little batootie off to look like that. C'mon, you at least have to give the kid some credit.

The only improvement I can see between New Moon and Twilight is that the sequel has more colors than blue, blue, and navy blue. Did anyone else roll their eyes at Stewart's amazing "paper cut" acting? Or when she got in the fetal position after being dumped? Bad source material makes for bad movies.

There were like two HUGE clumps of blood, in the trailer, dropping on the floor and making the carpet move a bit, JUST from a paper cut... How big was the cut, anyways? -_-

Its amazing how many people keep going on about this werewolf thing when they obviously dont know what they are talking about. He isnt a werewolf, he is a shapeshifter. They dont turn into horror movie werewolves, they just turn into wolves, which is pretty much what that trailer looked like

Twilight's strengths is not CGI but the whole love affair going on. Based on what the trailer shows, they are capitalizing on that. This sequel will deliver to the fans and earn a couple million more fans. The CGI wasn't that bad.

I thought the cgi was pretty cool, considering the crew on the last film couldn't even take the time to pull ropes when a character jumps so as to not have them fly horizontally across the screen every time. in comparison, though completely unrelated, it looks cool.
