Film School Rejects: 7 Things We Demand From an Avengers Movie

Samuel L. Jackson stopped being a badass sometime between 2002 and 2004, aka between Attack of the Clones and The Man.

I like the Ant-Man becoming Giant-Man idea... you should be a writer or something?

Im not big on an Avengers movie. I think it would be too much. I love The Hulk and Iron Man. Nick Fury is alright too but Captain America is a bore.

Just give me a Hulk/Iron Man/Wolverine movie and I'm good to go.

If they continue in the same vein that has already been set by Iron Man & The Incredible Hulk then The Avengers should be an AWESOME ass movie leaving the door open for a sequel to it in a few years later. & Samuel is still Badass, just ask him to show you his wallet...y'know, the one that says Bad mutha f.....

Where's The Vision? Would eight demands have been too much Cole? You synthezoid-hating bastard.

Getting Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Magneto wuld be too much. Other than those, I agree with the list.

Don't like the quicksilver/magneto idea...they (at least magneto) are not even in the same
movie universe as the hulk, ironman, and capt...and there can only be one badass
    butler...Alfred!!!

Why does everybody want the hulk to be the bad guy? I dont like it. Bring in some bad ass villain like loki.

It would be tough to explain Quicksilver and Magneto showing up in cameo roles without somehow explaining why the hell Quicksilver decided not to do anything during the events of X-men 3, considering his dad was trying to take over the world and what not. They would also need to at some point explain why Nick Fury and SHIELD didn't do anything during X-men 3 also. I think it is best to keep the X-Men movies separate.

o0kay o0kay you guys are jumping the guns a teeny weeny bit. The eventual success of The Avengers will ultimately depend on the individual superhero movies being made i.e thor, cap america etc...if these movies do well...then the avengers will be awesome. if these movies fail to entertain and suck , then the avengers will totally blow.
i am a little frustrated with the timeline and schedule of these movies. with the avengers being released in 2011, marvel have all of 3 years to whip out 4 astounding movies (iron man 2, thor, ant man and cap america) to give the avengers a chance at greatness...

(P.S..this will sound biase but i love the hulk, and i hope he plays a big part in the avengers. also do NOT lose Ed Norton.)

Good suggestions but it won't work.

Look at when X-Men came out. Where were the colourful costumes? Nowhere to be seen. They jettisoned that idea from the go.

As Avengers fans, this is something many of you would like to see but i don't think it will go down to well with the general moviegoing public.

If these colourful costumes get used in the movie then we will be back to "Kerrplug", "Smash", "Badoom", "Holy Milkshakes Batman" cause thats attitude of most of the general moviegoers out there.

I believe that moviegoers want to see superheroes but not in courful costumes. They want them to be just like everyone else but with a few special powers. Be more human. I think thats why Heroes does so well. None of them have outlandish costumes. No underpants over their tights, capes etc.

Am i making sense or talking rubbish?

I just think it would be cool to see Quicksilver because he's a great character. I suppose you could leave Magneto out entirely by changing the origin or not mentioning it, but I think that would be a really cool cameo as well. They may not be in the same movie universe, but they are in the same comic universe, and it would be awesome to see them tie things together even further, even just for a cameo.

Can you imagine how rad that would be if Quicksilver had a cameo in this movie, then had more screen time in the sequel and when they explain who is father is - having Ian MacKellen walk on screen? Awesome. Bam.

And just because I wear underpants over my tights, it doesn't mean I'm "outlandish," Raj.

@ Atomic Raj. X-men was one of the first of the new wave of superhero movies. So they
tried to make it more believable. Plus it would be post Watchmen and the charecters in that
    wear colourful costumes.
