    I remember first seeing this in theaters at Screamfest. Loved it. Thought that Victor could take his place among the great slashers of all time - BUT - only if we get that sequel.

    I met Tony Todd yesterday ("Be careful walkin' on the sidewalk!!!") at a convention, and he said that while he hasn't read the script yet, he anticipates Hatchet 2 will start filming in January, and was pretty excited about it.

    Fingers crossed, because I loved the first as well.
