Film School Rejects: 31 Days of Horror: Dawn of the Dead

I have seen both of the Dawn of the Dead films, and love them both. However, this version really has my heart. The incredible effects and tense scenes really add to the overall creepiness of the film. Not to mention the rendtion of Disturbed "Down with the Sickness" that was a great remake of that song as well.

I have to say this film really did a fine job of bringing the Zombies back to the screen. Too bad the new Day of the Dead wasn't very good.

I def love the original Dawn. It was the first z movie I ever saw and my fav since. None better cause of all the gosh awful ways people die in this one. Nightmarish almost. I love when the bikers come in like Night of the Living Dead meets Mad Max. Very funny stuff.

I love the new Dawn of the Dead with all my heart, but then again I saw the first one a long time ago. The chainsaw part was my favorite next to the head floating in the water cooler at the end :D !!!
